Happy Valentine’s Day

As a present to you, my loyal readers, I will give you lots of very cute pictures of our handsome little man. But first…. last night I went out for Mom’s Night Out with the mom’s from my mother’s group. It’s pretty cool that of the 10 of us in the group, 8 still get together pretty regularly. We ate good food, and split two pitchers of margaritas, which is the most alcohol I’ve had to drink since before being pregnant. It felt very decadent. Now, the pictures:

Would you like to come over to my house?

I can be a messy eater, it’s true. I think this needs more garlic…

Look into my eyes

Here’s Liam with his friend Griffin. Griffin, his mom Megan, Xochi, Les, and Shelley all came over last weekend for a big brunch and general hang out. It was much fun. Afterwards, Xochi and Les stayed around and we played Apples to Apples, which is a very fun game. Also notice how Liam is pushing up on his hands and trying to get up on his knees…. crawling is the next step

Finally, Liam is still enamored of his tongue. Here he is wearing his Red Sox Hat that Shawna gave him. It finally fits him, if we pull the adjusting strap as small as it will go. Shawna is in town right now, and will hopefully get to meet him today

math is fun

Liam with his first abacus.

We’re heading to Seattle on Saturday, and will be gone for a week. maybe we’ll get another post up before that.

Liam is doing well. His sleeping is much better, though he experienced a little relapse this week due to a mild cold. Solids are going well, we’ve given him:

rice cereal; oatmeal cereal; sweet potatoes; sweet peas; carrots; bananas; peas; peaches; pears; and today we added barley cereal.
